THE ORIGINAL TOLO
Meet my grandparents Tom and Lois! They are the original TOLO (pronounced tow low), at least in our family. Since then there has been the horse Tolo, the e-mail Tolo, the home wifi Tolo etc...long story short it's a name that has meaning in our family in one form or another.
When I decided to go out on my own in real estate, I wanted to make sure that I chose a name that had personal meaning and stood for TOLO Realty's core values. There was only one name that would meet these requirements and that is TOLO.
Commitment - 68 years of marriage and more in friendship. They worked together through all of the moments that life threw their way as a team.
Service - They both served in their communities in multiple forms including Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis, numerous volunteering hours plus education in the school system. Grandpa also served in the Navy for 30 years.
Education - This is probably the most important role my grandparents played in others lives. Grandma was an elementary school teacher (my 1st grade teacher) and Grandpa was a published writer. It was important to them to never stop learning and to share their knowledge and experiences with others.
